Ride, recover, ride again.
Myovolt joins forces with Global6
Myovolt is proud to announce a partnership with pro cycling team Global6, a UCI registered professional road cycling team currently competing around Europe.
Since its inception in 2021, Global6 have been turning heads, staying near the top of the field in international team racing, including a podium place in the recent Tour of Turkey. Adding new technology like Myovolt is just another aspect to their forward-thinking mindset that has brought them great success in the cycling industry.
Their mission is to give talented riders from diverse origins and backgrounds the opportunity to ride in the peloton of professional cycling. It’s simple. Win races, get podium finishes and turn heads, while also providing an opportunity for up-and-coming cyclists to shine.
Dr Graeme Maw, a high performance advisor for New Zealand cycling and team manager for Global6 says that this is what distinguishes their team.
“The mission is to give people who wouldn’t otherwise have the opportunity a chance to achieve their dreams. It’s about where you started, not dictating where you finish.”
Striving towards a career in professional cycling is an arduous task. It involves six day work weeks, training four to six hours a day and when they’re on tour they spend the majority of their time on the road. All this to work towards a career in cycling, where the performance translates to opportunity for both the rider and the team.
Global6 compete in Europe's Tier 3 continental circuit. There, they tackle teams with greater resourcing, dedicated physiotherapists and luxury buses taking them to and from events. But despite this they’re more than holding their own, achieving podium finishes and good publicity.
Fast recovery is a huge advantage in a cycling environment where athletes push their bodies to the limit. Racing multiple days in a row, over long distances, steep hills and brutal sprints can take a massive toll.
Professional cycling wreaks havoc on the lower back, quadriceps and hamstrings. You can read about how Myovolt is helping other professional cyclists to manage lower back pain here. Global6 aren’t resourced to hire full-time physios so access to treatment services can be limited - particularly when they are on the road. Myovolt will be a game changer, offering physio level treatment at any time between races and while on the road.
Ride, recover, ride again.

Myovolt co-founder Steve Leftly welcomes the partnership.
“We’re super excited to help Global6 rehabilitate and recover during their tight race programme. Myovolt will be key in getting them race ready during transit and travel when they’re unable to access physiotherapy or massage.”
Being a young dynamic team looking for innovative ways to get ahead, it makes sense to partner up with a technology led-company like Myovolt to get a head start. Wearable Vibration Therapy is a unique sports performance and recovery technology pioneered by Myovolt to provide an effective and convenient way to manage musculoskeletal soreness and stiffness anytime, anywhere.
Now the Global6 team can get their warm-up and recovery treatment on-demand, whether that’s travelling to the race, after a big day on the road or just relaxing in the hotel. Better recovery means better race day performance.
James Mitri, the team leader of Global6, says that Myovolt will add a lot of value helping the team prepare better and recover faster for training and events.
“Myovolt helps us in our quest of giving our athletes the best possible care in between busy race periods and while at home in training blocks.
“Whether it’s on a plane, or before the start of the race, Myovolt has us covered.”
Global 6 will be cycling through Europe turning heads in the continental circuit, then in September the team will compete in the Tour of Britain. Myovolt will be with them, ensuring the highest level of recovery innovation is easily accessible and convenient for the riders of Global6.
